Zahniser's Yachting Center, our home marina, was a flurry of activity. Boats were being hauled, "snow bird" cruisers were having maintenance done, and some owners were preparing their own boats for the winter. The harbor was jammed with boats either moored or anchored in every little open space.
We spent the day reprovisioning and doing laundry and chores around the boat. When all was finished we walked the docks looking at other boats for good ideas for ours.
To cap the day off we took a nice long hot shower (what a luxury)!
