DAY #45 - WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26th, 2009
After landing on the shore we explored the town of Blue Hill.
It turns out the the area hospital is on the waterfront and its helicopter landing pad is right in the middle of the boat ramp launch area. If any "live-aboards" want a job in health care this is the perfect opportunity.
Most of the village houses had flower gardens in their front yards.
We headed to the trail system that led to Blue Hill. At the trail head it was good to see that everyone stays active.
This is view from the top of Blue Hill. It was only 984 feet but it was still a nice walk. One can see the hills of Mt Desert in the distance.
Sumac along side the trail on the way down.
Back on the boat, we enjoyed another great sunset.
