A beautiful sunny day with moderate wind resulted in a nice sail out of Frenchman's Bay.
We passed Bar Harbor, now a big cruise ship destination.
The "head boats" were also enjoying the nice weather. Here you can see the "Margaret Todd", a four masted 151 foot schooner.
As we rounded the south end of Mt Desert Island we passed in front of Bear Island Light which was flanked by the hills of Mt Desert.
We anchored for the night in Valley Cove.
