SEPTEMBER 25, 2007
Now it is time to get serious about sailing for home (the Chesapeake Bay).
So we set out across Blue Hill Bay, back through Casco Passage, across Jericho Bay, up Eggemoggin Reach, and down Penobscott Bay to Pulpit Harbor.
We almost felt out of place in Pulpit Harbor. The harbor which is usually filled with a hundred or more boats was basically empty except for two other cruising sailboats, a trawler, and a small windjammer.
