SEPTEMBER 27, 2008
A strong weather system was forecast for tomorrow so we set out for the shelter of "The Basin".
While en route we got caught in a serious thunder storm so we opted to high tail it into Love Cove (Ebenecook Harbor) where we carefully anchored (it took two attempts in the rain). After the rain we realized that with shifting strong winds there wasn't near enough swing room with adequate scope out to we hauled out anchor again and headed for The Basin.
We found only one other cruising boat at The Basin. Swimming was brisk but nice.
