We hung on the mooring at Atlantic Highlands waiting for the approach of the front that would bring the expected gale. The calms before the storm.
What to do? We were still at a loss as to what had caused our recurrent voltage regulator problems. The only thing we could figure was that perhaps the fact that it was mounted in the engine compartment caused them to overheat and fail. So we decided to spend the day drilling holes in our beautiful woodwork so that we could move the regulator outside the engine compartment. It was painful but most likely necessary. We will see.
