DAY #100 - CORSICA RIVER

OCTOBER 19, 2007

A strong cold front is predicted to come through during the day and the wind supposed to swing around the compass. So we put out a second anchor and got ready for the storm.

Along the shore was a contrasting mixture of older, small, conservative homes and newer ones that were much larger than they needed to be and whose size probably corresponds with the size of the owners egos.

As it turned out we were glad to have put out two anchors. What we thought was a sheltered anchorage turned out to be quite rough when the wind shifted. I should have gotten a hint when the only other boat in the anchorage left shortly before the storm.
