BLUE HILL TO SEAL BAY

DAY #46 - THURSDAY, AUGUST 27th, 2009

We woke to a bright, sunny, still, day in Blue Hill Harbor.

Once the wind came up and the reflections erased, we sailed back to Seal Bay, in anticipation of Hurricane Danny which was approaching from the south. Blue Hill is considered a hurricane hole in the guide books but we would only consider it if we were on a mooring. There is not enough room in the harbor (among all the moorings) for one to put out enough scope to be able to cope with a hurricane situation.

Once we arrived in Seal Bay the wind died and the reflections returned.
