The wind was predicted to be from the southwest and at a pretty good clip today so we decided to be patient and wait another day before we set out along the New Jersey coast. West winds of 10 - 20 knots are predicted for tomorrow. Being that they would be blowing offshore the seas should be relatively calm and we would not have to tack down the coast for such a long distance.
So we spent another day at Atlantic Highlands.
