DAY #81 - POTTS HARBOR TO SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE

SEPTEMBER 30, 2007

After confirming that we had the last slip available at South Port Marina in South Portland we headed over there.

We found that the marina was packed because everyone was bringing their boats in for winter hauling and dry storage.

Once again we were amazed by the kindness and generosity of live aboard folks. For example: We were unable to completely dry our washed clothes at the marina because the dryers broke down. Another couple who was driving out to another laundry volunteered and took our wet clothes and dried and folded them while they did their own. Then they delivered them back to us. Unbelievable.
