DAY #48 - SHELBURNE

SEPTEMBER 2ND, 20008

The weather did not allow us to leave today but tomorrow might look possible. Boy it sure is getting old hanging out. If we can deal with northeast winds of 20 - 30 knots tomorrow morning we can run down the coast and the wind is predicted to change to east at 15 knots as we round Cape Sable and head for Maine. I think it is a "go" but we will recheck the conditions at 5:00 am before leaving.

With action on the horizon "Toonie Tuesday" ($2 beer at the yacht club) was a welcome reward and a great time to say goodbye to all our new friends.

Canada has both $1 and $2 coins. The $1 coins are called "Loonies" and the $2 coins are called "Toonies".
